ROOM HIRE RATES - Community Education Foundation

The Social Room (100 sqm) air conditioned room with carpet ideal for concerts, birthdays, weddings, meetings and seminars. Will comfortably seat up to 200 as an audience or 140 seated at tables.

The Sun room, carpeted, air conditioned room with large window suitable for meetings, playgroups, seminars and smaller social events, Holds approximately 40 people.

The Meeting room, a small, carpeted room with a boardroom style set up suitable for meetings, lectures etc. Holds approximately 20 people

Please note youth or teenage gatherings such as 21st birthday parties are not permitted, and we no longer have engagement parties or weddings at the centre due to the lack of available space.

Standard Hire

Casual Hire: These rates apply to all social functions, businesses and profit making groups using these facilities
Social Room                      $55 per hour
Sun Room                          $35 per hour
Meeting Room                   $30 per hour

Regular Hire: To qualify for these rates, you must be a small business and use the facility as least once a week
Social Room                       $37 per hour
Sun Room                           $30 per hour
Meeting Room                    $25 per hour

Community Group Hire:

Casual Hire:To qualify for these rates, your group must be a not for profit community group.
Social Room                       $33 per hour
Sun Room                           $27 per hour
Meeting Room                    $23 per hour

Regular Hire: To qualify for a regular community group hire, you must use the facility at least once a month.
Social Room                       $31 per hour
Sun Room                           $25 per hour
Meeting Room                    $20 per hour

Terms of hire
A Hire Agreement must be completed, rental paid in advance and an $80.00 bond paid at time of key collection. Rental can be paid by bank transfer, cash or cheque.

This venue is located at approximately 179a Archers Road, Northcote. No alcohol is permitted in the building.

Booking Period

All charges are per hour or part of an hour. Setting up/cleaning up time must be included in your hire period.
